The first time someone told me I needed to know who my audience was, I asked myself "but how can I find out their age, and where they live? I can't send out a bunch of surveys every month!" Well let me tell you, there is a tool that does this and so much more. Google Analytics is an incredible tool that can be attached to your already existing site.

Through Analytics you can track customer buying, site visits, and preferences. You can also track product performance, conversion tracking, and find out the demographics, age, and city of your audience. Google support offers free courses so you can start learning how to use Google Analytics. Following the link below:

Link Ranking: A Few Tips

What is a back-link? How does it help you rank higher? A back-link for a given web resource is a link from another other website that can be found on your site. It is similar to using a citation, you in essence are citing another site. When you have a variety of important back-links Google raises the rank and relevance of your site.

Which is better? Lots of links or high quality links? and Why?

Stuffing your site with a large amount of irrelevant links is just as harmful as keyword stuffing. You need to first start out by doing some research. You can check your competitors, and ask yourself how are they creating effective back-link strategies? You can use sites like AuthorCrawl (Links to an external site.) or BlogDash (Links to an external site.), add the info you gather into a spreadsheet and then find links that will be relevant to your site. These types of "high quality links" will provide you with high value traffic, and potential customers.

A quick note, many people add a blog to have a place where they can add more back-links. but adding a blog just to talk about new products and generate back-links isn't always a good idea. The blog should be added only if it will be relevant to the website, and will contain substantial/ relevant  content.
