Bridal-Lace Draping Technique

This project is a miniature version of bridal bodice, where one attaches the lace using a draping technique and closes off a side dart on the bodice making it invisible. When draping a piece like this one must put running stitches throughout the bodice to hold the lace application in place. This is a full piece of lace with no princess seams, giving it a cleaner finish.
**Stitching done in darker thread to make more visible**
The last added detail is the Pleated organza that was added at the bottom. This bodice is also has Shapeflex interfacing to give the bodice more structure. The princess seams also have Ridgaline boning giving the bodice wonderful structure. This was a project I worked on during my bridal design course.
