All of us dream of one day getting to build our own home. But what do you need? 1) you first need a lot, or a place to put it. 2) you need an address. 3) you need a contractor or someone to build it. Similar things are necessary when building a website.

You will need 1) a lot to place your website, also known as a Hosting service. These companies typically rent you space on one of their servers. This is where they will store your website memory and will basically be your landlord. 2) Your address in website lingo is known as your Domain. So you need one of these for people to find you. A good place to start searching for a domain is on https://www.godaddy.com/ 3) Who is going to build your website? well you can start by building it on a web site builder such as Wix, Word Press, Weebly, Go Daddy, or Square space. Let's say you want to avoid using templates, and want to cook your new site from scratch. Well, you're ambitious! make sure you look at the following tip.

Building your own site from scratch is possible. It requires coding and programming. Some sites that have open source coding/ programming tools include: Magento, & there are also a few tools on Word Press available. A good software option is Adobe Dreamweaver.
