When it comes to choosing the right business model, your product idea, and your overall goals should also be considered.

What are you willing to try?
Drop-shipping, is the latest rave. If you are a young adult, you will likely have that one friend that tries to get everyone to drop-ship. The truth is, you need to do your own research and learn about the risks, the difficulties you might face, and compare this model to other business models.
Start out by creating a system that will help you lay out the pros and cons of one business model against other models. This can be a SWOT analysis, or my personal favorite, a compare and quantifying spreadsheet.
A similar business model is creating an affiliate website. Through an affiliate site, you are trying to sell another company's product but instead of dealing with the customers, you only work with the wholesaler (or the company you are affiliated to). After you sign up either on their website or through their affiliate network to be a publisher, you then are paid through commission. Every time someone clicks on a company/ product link on your site, and purchases the product you receive a portion of the sale. Now it's up to you to analyze how fast you want to make money. Drop-shipping might get you funds faster, but it is riskier... just read this article and you'll know what I mean: http://www.tamingthebeast.net/articles3/drop-shipping-ecommerce.htm
But if you do it right, it can be a good experience, here are some tips on one way that works:
